Smartphone Sales Manager Greece - Mobile Internet and Digital Home Business

Position Description

  • Responsible for achieving the Region’s Unit & Financial goals by effectively managing the Product Portfolio in region/country via building, implementing, & executing relevant programs with high return on investment for the Region to execute to.
  • This involves successfully integrating & executing to programs around: 
  • Regional demand generation programs (tie product plans to business execution) 
  • Meeting the family, platform, & commodity mix goals. 
  • Effectively managing & driving Launches, Transitions, and End-of-Life programs. 
  • Ensuring accurate forecasting for relevant products; co-owner (with Sales) for the region’s forecast 
  • Ensuring LTB (Last Time Buy) process is executed smoothly and efficiently. 
  • Evaluating performance against plan at appropriate intervals (e.g., daily, weekly) & instigate corrective actions to keep on track to achieve LOB goals. 
  • Providing relevant input to the annual & quarterly planning cycles by LOB key financials (Platform Mix, Units, AUR, AUM, Rev$, Margin$). 
  • Determining customer needs through participation in Sales & Customer meetings. 
  • Feedback loops on competitive “price:spec”; working with the product/pricing team to help arrive at appropriate positioning and product messaging.
  • Responsible for Program Management of in-region/country Demo pool, Press evaluation units, and Seed units.
  • Responsible for co-developing (localising) & delivering local sales & BP training, as well as roadmap communications to relevant audiences.
  • Responsible for in-region Smart Launch. Drive all relevant parties in country to meet Smart Launch volume, process, & timeline requirements.
  • Responsible for ensuring local public website accurately reflects product portfolio & focus
  • Collaboration with Lenovo’s Global Supply Chain and Product Group to plan supply
  • Interacts with the Product & Marketing Management team

Position Requirements

  • Understands competitive products; understands technology & its practical application/contribution to customers’ requirements. 
  • Keen focus on customer needs 
  • Ability to build effective “virtual” teams and drive results through others in a complex cross-functional organization required. 
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills required, as well as an ability to interact effectively with high level decision makers/executives. 
  • Adept at managing multiple initiatives simultaneously. 
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Entrepreneurial self starter; excels at superior unsupervised execution. 
  • Knowledge about the Mobile Internet and Digital Home Business industry 
  • Acute business Sense and Keen Analytical Mind
  • Should have at least 3 to 5 yrs of experience; 
  • Proven track record at mobile-internet-digital-home products management 
  • Experience with sales through Telecoms and/or Retail
