Job purpose

As a member of the Actuarial team, you will make a significant technical contribution to Actuarial client engagements and internal projects. You will actively establish internal and external relationships and identify and escalate potential business opportunities for EY within existing engagements.

With a clear focus on anticipating and identifying risks, you will escalate issues as appropriate. You will also confirm that the work we deliver is of high quality and is reviewed by the next-level reviewer.

Your responsibilities

  • Participate in actuarial engagements
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel
  • Build strong internal relationships within EY Advisory Services and with other services across the organization
  • Ensure that clients’ requests are acted upon efficiently and on a timely basis and that the engagement team meets the client expectations
  • Prepare and review reports that will be delivered to clients and other parties
  • Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and update other senior team members on progress
  • Share knowledge with others


Technical skills requirements

  • University degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics and/or other related field
  • Postgraduate studies in Actuarial Science will be considered an asset
  • Well progressed with Actuarial Qualification exams will be considered an asset
  • Actuarial Modeling tool skills will be also considered an asset
  • Solvency II knowledge will be considered an asset
  • Advanced business writing and verbal communication skills both in Greek and English
  • IT literacy
  • Developed analytical and problem solving skills
  • Broad consulting and project management skills

  • Minimum of two (2) years relevant working experience (Life, Non-Life, Pension, Reporting, Investment)
  • University degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics and/or other related field
  • Postgraduate studies in Actuarial Science, Risk Management or other related field
  • Well progressed with Actuarial Qualification exams will be considered an asset
  • Actuarial Modeling tool skills (AFM, Prophet, Moses, ResQ, Igloo, Remetrica etc.)
  • Solvency II and IFRS 4 knowledge will be considered an asset
  • Advanced business writing and verbal communication skills both in Greek and English
  • IT literacy
  • Developed analytical and problem solving skills
  • Broad consulting and project management skills
