                                          Procurement Assistant

Location: Athens

The Role

The Procurement Assistant ensures that the items and services to build and maintain our advanced certification products are purchased from specified suppliers and are delivered according to agreed terms and conditions. An important aspect of this role is seeking maximum value for the company through time and cost agreements while working with technology advanced products.

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan and prioritize purchasing activities.
  • Review planned orders, create requisitions for purchases, and manage approval process.
  • Review, update, and maintain purchase orders until they are closed.
  • Identify opportunities and implement actions to achieve efficiencies.
  • Contribute to consolidation, reduction, and rationalization of the local supplier base
  • Contact suppliers in order to schedule or expedite deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries, and other problems.
  • Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates in order to determine the best bid among potential suppliers
  • Locate suppliers, using sources such as catalogs and the internet, and make enquiries to gather information about products to be ordered.
  • Monitor contractor performance, recommending contract modifications when necessary.


Candidate Profile

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • 2 years proven experience in procurement, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Ability to act under own initiative and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong negotiation and communications skills
  • Organizational, customer service, analytical thinking, planning and teamwork skills
  • Excellent command of the English language (C2 level).
  • Excellent IT Skills, ECDL Core/Expert certification will be considered an asset

Printing Services Supervisor

Location: Athens

The Role

You will be responsible to organize the effective operation of our printing room. Specifically, the role entails the printing and management of certificates, exam testing papers, preparation booklets as well as multimedia material used for exam preparation or exam delivery.

Main Responsibilities

  • Printing of: certificates, booklets, leaflets and past papers
  • Managing the supplies of administrative material and reporting for any shortage
  • Implementation of all warehouses procedures
  • Responsible for regular printing machines maintenance & ensuring faults and technical issues are resolved on time.


Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Business Administration / IT
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience ideally in digital printing or large scale photocopying
  • Team working capabilities
  • Multitasking and time management skills
  • Driving License A and B category
  • Excellent command of the English language (C1 level)
  • Excellent IT Skills, ECDL Core/Expert certification will be considered an asset

Software Developers

Location: Athens

The Role

The selected candidate(s) will join our Research and Development team of circa 40 developersan inhouse software department which designs and develops applications that support & manage our certification exams, conducted 24x7, worldwide. Our applications are web based (thin client) or client/server (thick client) and span from web based (ASP.NET, C#, AJAX, JavaScript), to mobile web (JQuery Mobile), desktop (C#), optical Marking Recognition, Google APIs for Georeference, and Reporting services. Our applications make use of web services in order to exchange data and/or link servers and our software security architecture is based on ISO 27001.

You will be responsible for designing, executing, assessing, and troubleshooting software programs and applications which include: configuring, analyzing, designing, coding, developing, and documenting software specifications throughout the project life cycle. You will also contribute to the estimates of the project, the quality and timeliness of the deliverables and the project’s compliance with the organizational processes and standards. Beginning with the planning and design stages, you will identify system requirements working with other team members to develop designs, integrate components, and lead technical testing, deployment and support projects. The ideal candidate will also need to be able to establish efficient technical review, deployment, and support processes, including tools and environments.

Main responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain computer programs related to business concepts using Team Foundation 2010
  • Perform unit tests and preliminary debugging to ensure that the programs work as planned
  • Apply any modifications proposed by analysts and/or the software quality assurance team
  • Coordinate with the chief architect, analysts and other programmers
  • Research new technologies, tools and solutions
  • Act as second level of support for production systems users
  • Transfer knowledge and know-how to other developers


Candidate Profile

  • University and/or Postgraduate Degree in a relevant field
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in a similar position, especially in database development, profiling and query optimization
  • Excellent knowledge of ASP.NET, C#
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005/8 R2
  • Knowledge in Ajax, Javascript will be appreciated
  • Excellent command of the English Language (Level C1)
  • Ability to work in a team under guidelines provided by the chief architect and analyst, using agile software development (SCRUM)
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Strong teamwork approach
