1) Experienced Professional in Financial / Business Modelling

Job purpose

Working in a multi-national environment, the team works on a range of transactions, from local to cross border multinational disposals or acquisitions. Working in this creative environment, you will be given the opportunity to work and take responsibilities on challenging projects, gaining exposure to various sectors, both within Greece and the CSE region.

You will be part of our Valuation and Business Modelling team, working primarily in business modelling assignments.

As a Valuation and business modelling experienced professional, with a focus in business modelling, you will contribute technically to modelling engagements. You will design, and build intermediate/complex models under supervision. You will review Excel models under supervision to arrive at preliminary conclusions and prepare reports of findings. Using complex financial models, you'll produce clear analysis to support client needs. As a member of the team, you'll help to support a positive learning culture.

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years of professional experience in financial modelling.
  • Excellent academic background, including a master’s degree in Finance and Banking, Business Administration (MBA), Accounting & Finance and/ or other related field with strong quantitative focus.
  • Strong quantitative skills; highly numerate with a natural interest in Excel; Experience in financial modelling (for example, in the fields of business planning, acquisitions, refinancing, project finance or other corporate finance transactions).
  • Ability to understand, manipulate and interpret financial data and commercial documentation and reports, drawing appropriate conclusions.
  • Analytical in approach.
  • Ability to learn quickly and keep abreast of developments.
  • Strong numerical/analytical ability and a sound grasp of financial accounting. Within this context, CFA, ACCA, or other professional qualification candidate, will be considered an asset.
  • Ability to use initiative and work effectively under pressure.
  • Very good written and oral skills both in Greek and English.
  • Excellent teamwork.

2) Experienced Professional in Credit Risk

Job purpose

You will work in multi-disciplinary teams that provide a range of advisory services. Team members include professionals with a variety of backgrounds including excellent academic credentials in quantitative sciences, computer science, finance and economics among other, as well as deep professional experience.

Working together, we help global clients, located in EMEIA and US, to better assess and improve their operations, grow revenue and manage risks to increase shareholder value.
You will build valued relationships with external clients and internal peers and contribute to the development of a portfolio of business by focusing on high-impact opportunities.

Bringing experience and unique insight on one or more services, you will use your knowledge and experience to help shape solutions to client problems and contribute to building and managing high-performing teams.


Technical skills requirements:

    • Excellent academic background, including at a minimum both a bachelor and a master degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, Engineering, Operational Research, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science or other related field with strong quantitative focus. Ph.D. will be considered an asset.
    • Up to 10 years of professional experience, with focus on the following areas:
    1. Development and validation of credit risk models (scoring and rating models, stress testing, risk decision, impairment, economic capital, regulatory capital, debt collection and recovery etc.).
    2. Knowledge and understanding of credit policies and processes, credit data & IT systems, and related financial institutions’ regulatory and accounting requirements.
    • Strong skills in programming, quantitative analysis and data mining packages (e.g. SAS, SPSS, R, Matlab). Experience in software development and databases will be considered an asset.
    • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills in English and Greek. Knowledge of additional languages will be considered an asset.
    • Ability and comfort in researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, emerging trends, new technologies and methodologies.
    • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
    • Broad consulting and project management skills.
    • Willingness and ability to travel and work abroad for international projects.
    • Completed military obligations (where applicable).

    5. Related financial institutions’ regulatory and accounting requirements.
    • Strong skills in programming and quantitative analysis packages (e.g, VBA, R, Matlab, Bloomberg, Reuters). Software development experience as well as databases experience will be considered an asset.
    • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service and technical writing skills in English and Greek. Knowledge of additional languages will be considered an asset.
    • Ability and comfort in researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, emerging trends, new technologies and methodologies.
