We are seeking to recruit a Purchasing Assistant. This is a Junior/Middle Level Role within our exciting Purchasing Team, based in our Head Offices in Athens.
- Supports the Product Range Manager in Analytical & Administrative tasks.
- Liaison with all Praktiker Stores, Suppliers and Internal Departments to resolve day to day operating issues such as temporary codes, pricing differences, Etc.
- Maintains communication with suppliers about prices and quantities as well as doing the follow-up for timely due deliveries of products.
- Compiles, maintains and updates report files and product databases
- University Degree in a Business Related Area, Engineering or Natural Science
- Post Graduate Degree in a Business Related Area or Supply Chain Management, will be considered an asset
- One (1) to maximum three (3) years of working experience in an Administrative Role within a Purchasing, Sales or Supply Chain Department
- Fluency in English & Advanced computer skills with emphasis in MS Excel
- The right incumbent will have strong analytical, organizational and communication skills as well as be a valuable team player.
